Course Description
This course concentrates on the skilled performance that is expected of persons who are required to dismantle, inspect, prepare, assemble and tighten flanged pipe joints using hydraulic tensioning equipment within a subsea environment. This training is carried out in a dry environment to ensure the facilitation of learning.
The course is assessed through written tests, practical observations and exercises. Successful completion results in an ECITB MJI21 certificate, valid for 12 months. Within 12 months work based task assignments need to be completed and technical competence validation test TMJI21 taken.
Who Should Attend
Engineers/Technicians who will be involved in the use of subsea hydraulic tensioning equipment.
